Welcome to bubs and sprinks: a very serious blog about not-so-serious things

If you’ve somehow landed here intentionally, you’re already ahead of at least 96 percent of the internet. If you arrived by accident, stick around. This is a fun space. I make cupcakes and small plates. I serve up recommendations on bubbles, locally bottled brews (of the beer and caffeinated variety – you’ve been warned that there will be many shoutouts to Portland for both reasons). I love to learn about tea (same shoutouts) to settle into a relaxing evening, after what has hopefully been a joyful day.

bubsandsprinks’ origin story for those unfamiliar, should come as no surprise. I love to write, I love any day when I can giggle, I love to bake and cook – and if my other half is lying about the quality of either, I’ll keep him around just for that. I love to adventure and explore and I love to share really cool experiences.

 I think that we can and should be pioneers to put smiles on the faces of those around us every day and if I can do that with something that fits in a cup – yep: even the bubs go in cups (more on that later), then we can turn this year and every year moving forward into better and better escapades for all.
